May be scary for ages 6 and underFor Those Who Fear The Dark is a picture book that personifies both Light and Dark. This story follows Dark, aka Spook, who is tired of everyone always fearing darkness. Throughout the book, Spook talks to the reader and tries to convince them that the dark doesn't have to be scary.
Spook also is used to scaring younger children just by existing and doesn't want to scare any kids you know, so be sure to pre-read/ look over the character design before allowing younger children to read.

This picture book is kid-appropriate!
As I like to say: This book is kid-appropriate in a similar way the animated movies Corpse Bride, Coraline, and The Nightmare Before Christmas are kid-appropriate.
Or in the way Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle are kid-appropriate.
Spook is the spookiest thing in this book.
Not everything I make in the future will be kid-appropriate.
